Garvanian Leads Men's Soccer Over #14 Loyola Marymount, 2-0

CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina took their earliest lead of the regular season since competing against Bucknell in their first game when Milo Garvanian scored on a penalty kick. Garvanian found the back of the net for a second time only 17 minutes later to lead UNC over Loyola Marymount, 2-0.

North Carolina's win over Loyola Marymount improves their record to 8-5-1 (2-4 ACC), while the Lions record falls to 9-3-1 (1-1 WCC).

Carolina was unranked in the national polls this week after falling to fellow ACC opponents Wake Forest and Louisville.
