Garrison Brooks has been competing overseas over the last few seasons. Now, a potential return to the states may be in play.
On Friday, the Birmingham Squadron, the G-League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, announced that they have acquired the returning player rights to the former UNC basketball star in exchange for the returning player rights to Jalen Slawson.
After beginning his professional basketball career with the Westchester Knicks, Brooks elected to take his talents to the Korean Basketball League. Due to injury, Brooks' time in Korea was short-lived, as he proceeded to head to Lithuania to join the BC Wolves for the 2024-2025 season.
