From research to relief, UNC professor plans to stay in Nepal

After surviving one of Nepal's worst earthquakes in decades, thousands in the disaster zone are looking for a way out. In towns and villages people are sleeping outdoors, frightened that an aftershock will bring down any walls left standing after Saturday's magnitude-7.8 earthquake. But Lauren Leve, an associate professor in the UNC Department of Religious Studies, is doing just the opposite. (WRAL.com)
