SKILLMAN, N.J. - Four North Carolina women’s tennis players are included in the Oracle/ITA Women’s National Preseason Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Junior All-America Hayley Carter begins the season ranked ninth in singles, followed by senior Whitney Kay at No. 62 and senior Ashley Dai at 112th.
In doubles, Carter and Kay are No. 15, while Dai and senior Kate Vialle check in 23rd.
Also announced on Tuesday was the field for the upcoming Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American selections.
Carter finds herself in the Main Draw Singles and the Main Draw Doubles alongside Kay, who is also included in the Qualifying Singles draw.
