Four Future Tar Heels Named To McDonald's All-American Game

CHAPEL HILL—Four University of North Carolina signees picked up one of the most prestigious honors in prep basketball when they were named to the 2020 McDonald's High School All-American Team on Thursday.

The four include: R.J. Davis, a 5-11 guard from White Plains, N.Y.; Walker Kessler, a 7-0 forward from Newnan, Ga.; Caleb Love, a 6-3 guard from St. Louis, Mo.; and Day'Ron Sharpe, a 6-10 forward from Greenville, N.C.

This season marks the third time four future Tar Heels were named McDonald's All-Americans, joining 1990 (Eric Montross, Derrick Phelps, Brian Reese and Clifford Rozier) and 2009 (John Henson, Dexter Strickland, David Wear and Travis Wear).
