CHAPEL HILL—The frenzied NBA summer free agency period is finally slowing down after a frantic July. A number of former University of North Carolina players have changed teams via trade or free agency, and others re-signed as free agents with their current teams. With the action of players swapping teams reaching a lull, it's a good time to recap the comings and goings of Tar Heels in the NBA.
At the same time in Chapel Hill, members of the 2018-19 Carolina squad are completing the second session of summer school this week. The team's three incoming freshmen, Rechon "Leaky" Black, Nassir Little and Coby White, have gotten their initial taste of college life and classes, as well as practices with the UNC coaching staff and workouts with strength and conditioning coordinator Jonas Sahratian.
