University of North Carolina sophomore David Ford is the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Golfer of the Month for October.
In three starts in October the Peachtree Corners, Ga., native won the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Seminole Golf Club, tied for second in the Williams Cup at Eagle Point in Wilmington and tied for sixth at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club.
Ford led the Tar Heels to team titles in all three tournaments, a first for the program since 1984-85.
The 2022 ACC Freshman of the Year averaged 68.89 strokes per round and shot at or below par in all nine rounds in October.
