CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Three Tar Heels earned automatic qualification, and two more received at-large berths to the 2023 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, the NCAA announced Tuesday afternoon.
The three-day event takes place March 16-18 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The North Carolina wrestlers competing in next week's event are:
125: Jack Wagner - At-large
141: Lachlan McNeil - Automatic
157: Austin O'Connor - Automatic
184: Gavin Kane - Automatic
197: Max Shaw - At-large
The entire bracket and seeding for the NCAA Championships will be announced tomorrow evening, at 8 PM.
