CHAPEL HILL – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has named the 48 student-athletes selected for one of its 2021 Division I All-America teams – honorees are divided into first, second, and third teams.
Tar Heels stocked the top team at each position on the field as five University of North Carolina players, most of any school in the nation, led the way on the first team.
Attackers Katie Hoeg and Jamie Ortega, midfielder Ally Mastroianni, defender Emma Trenchard and goalie Taylor Moreno all made the first team.
