CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina won three doubles matches on Thursday during the first day of the ITA Carolinas Women’s Tennis Regional at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
In the doubles main draw, No. 2 seed Jessie Aney and Kate Vialle picked up an 8-3 win in the Round of 32 match over Paige Cline and Rachel Rohrabacher of South Carolina.
Ashley Dai and Cassandra Vazquez also won 8-2 over Ali Mills and Hannah Templeton of South Carolina in the Round of 32.
Marika Akkerman and Maggie Kane picked up an 8-2 victory over Samantha Asch and Xue Zhang of Wake Forest in the Round of 64.
