The golf professionals at UNC Finley Golf Course will be playing multiple rounds the week before and through Memorial Day to benefit Patriot Golf Days, which provides funds to veterans and members of their families through two PGA of America charitable endeavors, Folds of Honor and PGA HOPE.
"Our staff is looking forward to supporting Patriot Golf Days again this year," says head professional Frank Maynard. "UNC Finley has supported this program for more than 10 years. We are excited to help veterans and provide family members of the military with educational opportunities."
Folds of Honor is a PGA-founded charitable initiative started by Dan Rooney, a former fighter pilot and lieutenant colonel, who like Maynard served on the Carolinas PGA Reach Committee.
