CHAPEL HILL – The University of North Carolina baseball team recognized its 11 graduates prior to the game on Saturday and then honored them by finishing off its three-game sweep of No. 20 Florida State, blanking the Seminoles 11-0 Saturday at Boshamer Stadium.
North Carolina finished the regular season with an overall record of 34-19 and 15-15 in the ACC. The Heels have won 11 of 13 since getting swept at Virginia in mid-April with three consecutive conference series triumphs.
With the victory, UNC earned the No. 8 seed in the upcoming ACC Championship in Charlotte next week and will be in Pool A along with No.
