NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Senior Sara Daavettila will play for the Oracle ITA Fall National Championship singles title after defeating Miami's Estela Perez-Somarriba on Saturday in the semifinals.
No. 8 seed Daavettila faces Texas standout Anna Turati, the No. 6 seed, in Sunday's final at 2 p.m. ET from Newport Beach Tennis Club. The singles finals will air live on ESPN3 with Bryan Fenley, Marc Lucero and Jasmine Minor describing the action. ESPNU will re-broadcast the finals on Tuesday (Nov. 12).
The two met last month in the quarterfinals of the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa, Okla.
