Freshmen Wei Chee Chen and Carlexa Fevry represented UNC over the weekend at the USA Fencing Junior Olympics held in Kansas City, Mo. Competing in junior women’s foil, Fevry was 35th and Chen was 36th in a field of 213.

Tar Heel freshman Jackie Litynski was set to compete but had to withdraw due to injury.
Next up for UNC is the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, to be held on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 25-26) at Duke. The women’s individual competition is Saturday morning, followed by the men’s team event in the afternoon.
