When one door closes, another one opens.
After signing with the San Francisco 49ers this offseason, former UNC football standout Chazz Surratt thought that he would be an integral part of his new team's defensive unit, especially considering his former head coach, Robert Saleh, is on the staff.
Well, that didn't work out as planned.
Surratt found himself among the players released as the 49ers trimmed their roster down to 53 players ahead of the 2025 season. This left the veteran linebacker searching for a new home, but fortunately, there were plenty of suitors.
The #Seahawks are signing LB Chazz Surratt to their active roster, per his agents @NessMugrabi and @davidcanter of @aurasportsgroup.
