North Carolina will host a super regional in Chapel Hill in back-to-back seasons.
After downing Holy Cross and Oklahoma twice in the regional round, the Tar Heels are poised for a deep run into June once again. Standing in the way of a College World Series berth are the Arizona Wildcats, who will travel across the country to Boshamer Stadium with similar aspirations. The three-game series will take place between Friday and Sunday at 12 p.m., with the potential game three start time to be determined.
Arizona (42-18, 18-12 Big 12) is scorching hot. They swept through the conference tournament, downing BYU and two NCAA tournament squads, TCU and West Virginia, to hoist the Big 12 trophy in their inaugural season in the conference.
