The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is one that recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football from either a Texas High School or currently playing at a four-year college in the state of Texas.
While on-field production is taken into consideration, the award is annually presented to a student-athlete who exhibits some of the characteristics that define the legendary Earl Campbell. Some of those include integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity (among others).
Ahead of the 2025 season, newcomer Chad Lindberg of the UNC football program has earned a spot among the list.
