TULSA, OKLA.—University of North Carolina graduate students Brian Cernoch and Ryan Seggerman advanced to the doubles final of the ITA All-American Championship with a straight-set win on Saturday. The Tar Heel duo beat Florida's Tanapatt Nirundorn and Togan Tokac by a score of 7-5, 6-4.
Cernoch and Seggerman have gelled quickly in Tulsa in their first tournament as a doubles team after Seggerman joined the Carolina program in the summer of 2022 as a graduate transfer from Princeton.
They now advance and will play Toby Samuel and Connor Thomson of South Carolina in the championship match on Sunday at 11 a.
