Carter Jenkins, a junior at the University of North Carolina, is one of 12 players named to the 2016 All-Atlantic Coast Conference men’s golf team.
The Raleigh native leads the Tar Heels in stroke average (71.79), rounds under par (13), rounds in the 60s (7) and percentage of rounds counted (27 of 29, .931). Earlier this year he tied the all-time UNC record for low round and set the school record for round against par when he shot a 9-under 63 at the Primland Invitational in Meadows of Dan, Va.
