The University of North Carolina’s 2016-17 men’s golf schedule begins on September 10-11 with a two-day trip down the highway to Duke University where the Tar Heels will play in the Rod Myers Intercollegiate.
That is the first of five fall and six spring tournaments leading up to the NCAA Regionals, which are slated for May 15-17.
The Duke tournament is one of four events that were not on last year’s schedule. Other new events this year include the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational at the Olympia Fields Country Club, the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic at the San Diego Country Club and the Seahawk Intercollegiate hosted by UNCW at the Country Club of Landfall.
