CHAPEL HILL - The third-ranked North Carolina women's tennis team marched to a 7-0 victory against East Carolina Wednesday evening at Cone-Kenfield Center.
Courts one and three clinched the doubles point after one hour of play to claim the first point of the night.
The doubles point was a nail bitter and forced two courts to go into a tiebreaker, but Carolina came through at the end. The duo of Sara Daavettila and Alexa Graham quickly won 6-0 on court three. Thirty minutes later, No. 2 Makenna Jones and Cameron Morra clinched the doubles point in a tiebreaker, 7-3.
