SAN DIEGO, Calif. – After five days of competition in San Diego, the North Carolina Tar Heels found itself as the last team standing in both the singles and doubles 2023 ITA Fall Championships.
To begin the day, defeated Ayana Akli of the University of South Carolina 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 to clinch the singles championship.
An hour later, Brantmeier returned to the court to partner with in the doubles championship. The duo defeated Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar of the University of Oklahoma State 6-1, 6-2 to win the title and sweep the prestigious event.
