CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina hosts Coastal Carolina in the second round of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship on Sunday at 6 p.m., at Fetzer Field.
Carolina received the No. 5 overall seed in the 48-team field on Monday. This is the 23rd appearance in the NCAA postseason in program history. The Tar Heels have compiled a 33-18-6 mark in NCAA play.
UNC has been involved in 16 of the last 17 NCAA Tournaments. During that time frame, the program has won two national titles (2001 and 2011), made four-consecutive College Cups from 2008-11 and reached the quarterfinals six of the last seven seasons.
