CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Six members of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season champion University of North Carolina women's soccer team have been named to the All-ACC teams announced Thursday by the league office.
Three Tar Heels were named first-team All-ACC, two were chosen second-team All-ACC, one was tapped as third-team All-ACC and two Tar Heels were chosen for the ACC All-Freshman Team.
North Carolina head coach Anson Dorrance was selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference coach of the year for the 12th time in his career. He has won the award in 1987, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1996, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2018 and 2019.
