CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- After a day off on Monday, North Carolina returns to the field to continue its seven-game road trip Tuesday against No. 6 South Carolina at Truist Field in Charlotte. The No. 13 Tar Heels are coming off a 2-1 series at Notre Dame over the weekend, while the Gamecocks took two of three from Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss.

Redshirt freshman Dalton Pence will make his first start for the Tar Heels on Tuesday and will be opposed by fellow southpaw Matthew Becker.
