Springfield, Mass. — The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the 20 watch list candidates for the 2020 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award.
University of North Carolina freshman Cole Anthony made the list. Three Tar Heels have won the award in the past: Raymond Felton (2005), Ty Lawson (2009) and Kendall Marshall (2012).
Named after Class of 1971 Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic and Holy Cross guard Bob Cousy, the annual honor now in its seventeenth year recognizes the top point guards in Division I men's college basketball.
