CHAPEL HILL - The anticipation level on campus for the Sept. 7 home opening football game under the lights at Kenan Stadium continues to build as we near a sell-out crowd when the Tar Heels host Miami at 8 p.m.
The student section, or the "The Tar Pit" as its commonly referred to by fans, will be rocking after all the allotted tickets in the student section were claimed by UNC students on Wednesday and Thursday morning of this week.
"What an outstanding effort by our students to register for all the tickets for the Carolina-Miami game in less than 30 hours," said Bubba Cunningham, UNC Director of Athletics.
