All four current University of North Carolina men's golfers competing in the 2023 United States Amateur have qualified for match play after stroke play Monday and Tuesday in Colorado at Cherry Hills Golf Club and the Colorado Golf Club.
Maxwell Ford shot 6-under 66 today at the Colorado Golf Glub to tie for fourth place at 6-under 137 in the 312-player field. Ford shot 71-66 to finish one back of the co-medalists – Blades Brown, Sampson Zheng and Jackson Buchanan – who finished 7-under 136.
David Ford shot 4-under 68 today to tie for 26th place at 2-under 141 (73-68).
