Tar Heel senior Abigail Curry has been recognized as one of the nation’s top student-athletes on and off the court, earning Academic All-District honors as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Curry is the 12th Tar Heel program history to earn the prestigious award. As a First Team honoree, the senior setter is now in the running for Academic All-America.
“For four years, Abbey’s been a great student,” said head coach Joe Sagula. “She represents what a real student-athlete is, on the court, off the court, academically and in her dedication to her sport and her schoolwork.
