Ginyard, a member of the UNC basketball program's 2009 NCAA championship team, has been hired by the University of North Carolina as the Director of Special Projects. This role will have Ginyard jointly supporting leadership in the Offices of Public Affairs and Finance and Operations.

His (Ginyard's) responsibilities include supporting the Secretary of the University in work with the Board of Trustees, coordinating Trustee special projects, representing the University at special events, and advancing pan-University initiatives in partnership with leaders across campus.
