A Class of 2027 running back has decommitted from the UNC football program

The UNC football program has lost a commitment from its 2026 class, as running back Amir Brown has elected to re-evaluate his options.

Hayes Fawcett of Rivals was the first to report the news:

The 5’11 205 RB from Raleigh, NC had been Committed to the Tar Heels since August

This shouldn't come as a surprise, given Brown's recruitment hasn't been fully closed.
