CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – An all-time high 503 Tar Heels have been named to the 2022-23 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced on Friday by the league. It marks the fifth year in a row that more than 400 UNC student-athletes have earned the honor and the first time in school history that the number has topped 500.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity sport while earning a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2022-23 academic year. More than 5,900 conference student-athletes, the highest total ever, earned the honor this year.
