TEMPE, Arizona - North Carolina continues its stranglehold as the top-ranked women's tennis team in the latest Oracle/ITA Collegiate Division I rankings released on Tuesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

North Carolina (14-1, 3-0 ACC) has held the No. 1 national ranking the last four weeks since winning the ITA Indoor National Team Championship in February. Carolina leads a group of six ACC schools in the top 25: No. 1 North Carolina, No. 3 Duke, No. 5 Georgia Tech, No. 10 Wake Forest, No. 16 Florida State and No. 24 Virginia.

The Tar Heels boast six singles players ranked this week among the top 125 players in the country.
