North Carolina might not be done with their 2014 recruiting class just yet. Shooting guard Elijah Stewart had his scholarship released from Loyola Marymount after he requested so a few days ago.
With a scholarship open, the Tar Heels could be in play for the 6-foot-5 guard out of Los Angeles. Stewart is the 94th ranked recruit according to ESPN.
The Tar Heels have made a call to Stewart now that his scholarship has been released and are indicated to be in play for Stewart. The move would boost an already impressive 2014 class for Roy Williams and give the Tar Heels more depth at shooting guard.
