Remember Matt Canada? He was the offensive coordinator at NC State during the first three years of Dave Doeren’s tenure, and has since gone on to call plays at Pittsburgh, LSU, and now, Maryland. Canada is serving as the interim head coach at Maryland, while they sort out (figure out how to properly fire) everyone involved in this mess.
Canada was hired by Maryland in February to run the Terps’ offense. He’s got a reputation as a bit of an abrasive individual, so it’s a little bit amusing that this would be the person of all people that Maryland chooses to handle the departure from that last overly-masculine culture.
