With a possible broken finger, NCSU’s Bradley Chubb keeps playing against Pitt

It’s hard to keep N.C. State star defensive end Bradley Chubb off the field.

Chubb possibly broke his left pinky finger in the third quarter of the Wolfpack’s game at Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Chubb got his left hand caught in offensive tackle Jaryd Jones-Smith’s facemask at 5:06 in the third quarter. He was on the field for several minutes in apparent pain.

Chubb missed the next play of that defensive series and then one more on Pitt’s next possession but returned with his left hand heavily taped.

He even broke up a pass attempt by Pitt quarterback Kenny Picket to running back Darrin Hall.
