After a tremendous season last year, Doeren and staff are following it up by going all in on recruiting. State currently ranks 4th in the ACC and continues to bring guys in. There’s one in particular, that we at PI can’t stop thinking about; QB commit, MJ Morris.
Raw Talent
Morris has raw skills that should develop nicely by the time he steps on campus. His sophomore season saw a jump in decision making and accuracy, completing 61% of passes with a 3-1 TD to INT ratio, while also gaining nearly 7 yards per carry.
Morris has a big arm to go deep, while also having the ability to roll out and go short.
