Joe Lunardi of ESPN released his 2025-06 Preseason Men’s Basketball Bracketology report released today, and he projects NC State will be a #8 seed in the Big Dance, playing against #9 seed Vanderbilt. If the Wolfpack wins in the first round, they would have most likely have #1 seed Florida waiting for them.
The ACC is projected to send 5 teams to the NCAA Tournament, which hasn’t happened since 2021. Last year, 4 teams from the ACC went dancing.

Duke (#1 seed)
Louisville (#3 seed)
UNC (#6 seed)
NC State (#8 seed)
Virginia (#10 seed)

Kansas (#6 seed)
