So, uhh... this is a straight garbage week of games nationally. Lousy football all around. I mean, there are likely to be some exceptionally entertaining games that emerge from the heap, but on the surface... thhwwwpppppp. Garbage.
The SEC (and UNC-CH) are doing their annual beatdown-for-pay of D1-AA/FCS opponents (c’mon, Catamounts!). Also, there are more 1- or 2-win matchups going on than anyone would like. That makes for bad football.
There are a few good games, though, including the Syracuse vs Notre Dame game at Yankee Stadium and the Cincinnati @ Central Florida game. Plus there’s always the chance that Duke knocks off Clemson.
