Lavar Batts was a late addition to Kevin Keatts’ NC State roster. He had committed to Will Wade at VCU before Wade left and Keatts joined the Wolfpack. After being granted a release, Batts joined the Pack and slotted in as the backup PG to Markell Johnson.
