NC State was up 44-0 when Freshman Defensive Tackle Alim McNeil stripped the ball away from East Carolina Junior Running Back Hussein Howe, and Wolfpack Redshirt Sophomore Linebacker Brock Miller recovered the fumble, running it 12 yards to the 1-yard line.
It was the perfect setup to run a play that has been lingering in the back of NC State’s play book collecting dust.
Redshirt Graduate Senior Quarterback Ryan Finley handed the ball to Redshirt Graduate Senior Center Garrett Bradbury, who followed the blocks of Redshirt Sophomore Center Joe Sculthorpe and Redshirt Sophomore Offensive Tackle Kendall Brown, tumbling into the end zone.
