Usually, we don’t post about former NC State players after they transfer, but when they torch UNC, well, that’s a little different.
Dennis Parker Jr, the former NC State forward, who transferred to Radford this past offseason, had a massive game against the Tar Heels last night, dropping 23 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
Parker Jr averaged 12 minutes, 3 points, and 2 rebounds in Raleigh last season and never was really able to break into the lineup for a Kevin Keatts team that only won 12 games last season.
Now, with Radford, he’s getting a much bigger role and making the most of it, averaging 17 points and 5 rebounds, while shooting 53% from the floor and playing 26 minutes.
