NC State’s biggest pickup in the Transfer Portal this offseason was undeniable Texas Tech Forward Darrion Williams (6’6″/225). He was just named the ACC Preseason Player of the Year by the media. With the season opener only a few weeks away, I’m going to be chronicling some of the best performances from last season from the Wolfpack’s new and improved roster.
Williams’ best performance last season was in the Red Raiders’ 77-64 win over Drake in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. The 2nd Team All-Big 12 honoree finished with 28 points (61.1% from the field), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
