The first full weekend of college football, such as it is, figured to be a tell for what’s to come down the road, and the signs are not good. Virginia Tech announced this morning that its game against Virginia on Sept. 19 has been postponed because of “COVID-19 issues.”
Earlier this week, Hokies head coach Justin Fuente said he didn’t think his team would have been able to play against NC State as it was originally scheduled—for today.
In addition to postponing its game against UVA, Virginia Tech is halting football practices for four days.
