This is Jacksonville, where you can hear the Dolphins cry

The Jacksonville Dolphins were among the country’s most experienced teams last season, with a lineup led by multiple juniors and seniors. That Jacksonville team didn’t amount to to much, but it did at least have identifiable strengths on both sides of the ball.

This year it has none—the Dolphins have been crippled by roster turnover and injuries, circumstances that have turned them into one of the 20 worst teams in D-I. Jacksonville is 4-9 overall with four losses to teams outside the Pomeroy top-300; only two of the school’s wins have been against D-I opponents.

One of Jacksonville’s wins came against Webber International, which sounds like a conglomerate that supplies malk and grade-F horse meat to underfunded public schools.
