Four-star basketball recruit Saddiq Bey has committed to N.C. State, he announced Thursday night.
Bey, a 6-7, 195-pound small forward, is ranked No. 83 in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s the top-ranked recruit N.C. State coach Kevin Keatts and his staff have landed from the 2018 class.
Bey plays for Sidwell Friends School, a private school in Washington D.C. He made his announcement at a local Boys and Girls Club.
As a junior, Bey averaged 14.5 points per game, 6.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. He also helped lead his school to a state championship after the team’s best player suffered an injury, his high school basketball coach Eric Singletary said.
