Less than a week ago we wrote about the NFL being under fire for not policing concussion protocol. One of the cases being looked at was a hit sustained by Russell Wilson.
Wilson was hit hard and seemed a bit dazed, but when he got to the sideline, he reportedly did not go through concussion testing. Now we are finding out that the most damage might have been to Wilson’s jaw.
Russell Wilson said doctors had to re-set his jaw. It was nearly broken. Liquid diet, smoothies thru last weekend. Tough to talk until last couple days.
