Training camp has kicked off across the NFL and this past off-season has been one full of rumors regarding Philip Rivers. It was widely reported that he wanted to be traded before the draft and he was not interested in signing a long term extension given the unknown future of the Charges; however, that stance has softened on Rivers side. He explained that he was committed to the Chargers but did not want to distract the team with ongoing talks about his contract situation.
Throughout the spring and this training camp Rivers has been as attentive as ever.
