Wide Receiver Porter Rooks is entering his Junior Season, and his 4th season at NC State. The former 4-Star prospect has played in 37 games over three seasons, but has primarily lived in the shadow of Thayer Thomas.
With Thomas gone, Rooks finally gets his chance to shine. Entering Week 1, Rooks has earned the starting job at the FLEXY Receiver position, but there is an “or” in between his name and True Freshman Juice Vereen. Both players are going play in this system, but if Rooks wants to claim his spot as an essential part of this Wolfpack offense, he probably needs to get off to a great start in 2023.
