Former NC State quarterback Philip Rivers is quite literally playing the best football of his career.
Today he continued his torrid streak, and today the victim was the Redskins. Rivers was 18 of 31 for 331 yards and 2 touchdowns (114.9 QB Rating).
Mark it down. Rivers became the 3rd quarterback in NFL history to throw for 3,500 yards in 10 consecutive seasons, joining Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.
Also, today Rivers passed Warren for 9th on the NFL all-time passing yards list.
